Nokia to launch touchphone   07 Oct 2008

Nokia plans to launch its first touch screen phone - the Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic - in several overseas markets in time for Christmas. No news yet if / when the phone will get an Australian release...

The phone will go on sale in India, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Russia and Spain at a price of $US387

The phone is billed as Nokia's answer to the iPhone. Nokia expect to ship more than 10 million touch screen phones next year...
